Adobe Illustrator software transformed sketches into finished drawings. They were then placed in a single layout, that was finished after several 'virtual' exchanges between the designer, researcher, design and language supervisors. The designer annotated pdf layouts with questions to the researcher. A second draft emerged from this dialogue which then unified all the data/parts with a common visual style — using consistent attributes of line, color, and text.
